Face To Face

Face To Face is a new Emmaus program for seniors being developed by Upper Room Emmaus. It is built on the 72-hour Walk to Emmaus model but designed for senior adults age 60 and above who would have difficulty with the physical demands of a 72-hour retreat. The program takes place over four weeks with a lunch between the morning and afternoon sessions.

Program Dates
Upper Room Emmaus has selected the Nashville Emmaus Community to pilot Face To Face. The first pilot was successfully completed at Franklin First United Methodist Church in Franklin, TN from June 3 to July 29, 2011. We are now preparing for the second pilot, FTF #2.

Dates: Fridays, April 20, 27, May 4, 11, 2012
Time: 9 am - 4 pm
Registration Fee: $50 per participant (includes all materials, lunch and refreshments)

Prayer Vigil
Like Emmaus Walks, Face To Face is undergirded in prayer while the pilgrims are in session. Prayer charts are circulated at Community gatherings leading up to the walk and are available online. Click here for Face To Face Prayer Charts

Table Agape
We need Table Agape - 75 pieces. Agape should be delivered to Hilldale UMC prior to the first session April 20.
